Aden Canteen
The recent food-borne outbreak of severe diarrhea has been of great concern to UNIS and Aden Canteen has responded by introducing stricter hygiene methods and removing items from the menu.
- All menu items with raw vegetables have been temporarily suspended until further notice.
- No use of critical ingredients such as shrimp paste, and any health-alerted items
- Storage procedures of keeping raw and cooked food separately are being strictly enforced
- Additional precautions are being taken with all areas of personal hygiene
- No use of ice in the canteen at all
- Removal of any items using fresh seafood.

Students can either buy food from the Canteen, or opt
to bring a bag lunch. Food is not to be ordered from outside vendors
and picked up by students at the school gates. The canteen sells a variety
of nutritious food to students. Lunches can be pre-ordered at 8:00 am
or 9:40 am. The canteen is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
