Message from the Principal of the Middle and High School

Dear Students and Parents,

My teaching and administrative experience has provided me with the opportunity of working in a variety of schools, each with unique organizational forms and ‘Cultures’ typified by differing values, beliefs, routines and expectations.  To continue working within a school offering the IB Programme, one of 1,755 schools in 122 countries also offering this Programme continues to be both rewarding and challenging.

The appeal of the IB Programmes lies in its philosophy, the belief that we educate the whole person.  But there is also the expectation that our students need to develop in order to become ‘truly internationally minded, independent, lifelong learners’.  At UNIS we accept this challenge head on.  It is a pleasure to work within such a focused and professional atmosphere.

Lesley Peacock
Principal of the Middle and High School
