!!!!!!!!! MRISA CHAMPIONS !!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to our Junior Boys who are now the
2006 MRISA Soccer Champions.

Congratulations to our Junior Girls who are now the
2006 MRISA Soccer Runner-Up Champions.

The mighty junior Dragons of UNIS recently returned from Phnom Penh this past week having competed in the Jr. MRISA Soccer and Softball exchange. Two ten- member teams of girls and boys faced seven other regional international schools for the title of soccer champions, then combined forces to challenge again in mixed softball. Mr. Cox, Mr. Phi and myself were very impressed with our student-athletes’ excellent spirit of sportsmanship as well as their sporting skill and were proud to accompany such a fine group of ambassadors for our school. Thanks goes also to Matthew Frey-Wedeen, father of one of our boys who assisted us in taking the group abroad. A fantastic time was had by all. Many new friendships were made with host families from the International School of Phnom Penh as well as with fellow competitors.

Thank you, parents, for your continued support of MRISA and similar exchanges and competitions in which UNIS participates. To have seen the smiles and overheard the remarks told a wonderful story of success and fun! - Coach Healy
