Festive Fundraiser Raised 11 Million VND! Over 11,000,000VND in donations was collected at the Festive Fundraiser on Friday night December 11. The money will be used to purchase traditional musical instruments for Kindergartens in the rural districts of Hanoi. UNIS Music teachers will recommend specific instruments and along with UNIS ECC teachers will do training sessions with Vietnamese Kindergarten teachers to demonstrate how to implement music concepts into the classroom curriculum. Many thanks to all the student performers and to all the families who made donations. Direct Action were coordinating the Sausage Sizzle at the Festive Fundraiser and they raised over 5,000,000VND. This money will be used to purchase winter blankets and clothes for remote communities in Northern Vietnam. Liz Druitt CAS Coordinator
