It's been a long while since I left the UNIS campus. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone, it feels like just yesterday I was stressing over IB. I am currently in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Persuing a Business degree at Northwood University. After I graduated UNIS I decided to take a year off, so it's only my second year at Uni. Even so I am thankful for IB, becuase I have already been classed as a Junior! That's right, you work hard enough and those IB classes will count as college credit. I am really enjoying my degree, Northwood is a very small campus just like UNIS. We have a large ineternational group, and some great professors. Other than school, I have been working full time at a bookstore. I am heavily involved in the Student Government, Autism Society of America, and our Strategic Planning group. It's a full load, but I am enjoying it. Missing UNIS, and hope everyone is still out persuing their dreams. Dream Big!
Upon arriving in Hanoi, I didn't know what to do because I had a faint overview that Hanoi was a war-torn city with no facilities. That's until I realized it wasn't all that bad when I became a student at UNIS. The friends I made at this unique international school were there to help me out in times of need and desperation. Even the staffmembers at UNIS themselves were there as well. They helped me find my footing in a country so diverse and one that I never imagined possible for me to reside in. It turned out to be more than what I'd expected. My thoughts of my life spent in Hanoi as well as in UNIS are reminiscent until this very day and will never be forgotten. I want to forward much thanks to all the staff members at UNIS for their contribution to my present knowledge and understanding of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! As for my present life, I'm happily studying at Limkokwing University College of Creative Technology in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. I'm taking a course in Fashion and Retail Design in my hopes of becoming a successful fashion designer/entrepreneur. I know it may be ambitious but you never know where your destiny will actually lead you. For the moment, I believe I'm on the right path so wish me luck for the future. Have faith in me just like I have in you all... Thanks for the memories! [Excuse the grammar. I was not never really this standard before!]
Ah, Hanoi.. I miss it so much, and all of you who were my friends, you know who you are. I graduated from UNIS before they even started 10th grade! I miss you all so much though, it was great times back then. After UNIS I went to boarding school in New York then to Tokyo for one year, which I met up with Rebecka Salme, which was wierd! Rebecka if you read this, that was wierd huh? haha. I have also met up with Daniel Ruktantichoke, who lives only two hours from me now, he's also in Texas, currently ENGAGED!!! So I will send you all pictures of the wedding. His fiance is Laos and very nice. I met her a couple of times. As of now, I am in school at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and I'm graduating this December (2003). If any of you who know me read this, please email me, it would be so greta to hear from u all. Miss you lots.
Oh man..its been along time..it was a moment i will treasure 4 ever.. currently in university in Malaysia persuing a degree in International Business. Anyone in the ASEAN region feel free to come to Malaysia and we could meet up. Received: 22 May 2006
I came to UNIS in 1996 and started off in Kindergarten. It was my first school ever so of course I was nervous and had jitterbugs in my tummy. Everyone at UNIS was being really nice to me and soon all the jitterbugs vanished and was replaced by a love and respect for UNIS. I am currently attending boarding school in Malacca, Malaysia. Although it has been a long time since I left UNIS, it will always be a part of me wherever I go. I will always cherish the memories I had in UNIS. I miss you !
Hi! I was in UNIS from G6 till G8. I really DID enjoy UNIS life very much! Making friends from all over the world was AWESOME:) Right now, I'm in Japan and ready to graduate from Keio University. I was at the College of William and Mary (Virginia) in the states for a year as an exchange student. I also went to France for several weeks to skill up my French. I'll start to work from April next year. Before that, I'm planning to visit my friends who are in DC, London, Paris, and Brussels. Can't wait to see you guys!!! P.S. I still keep in touch with Clemmie and after leaving Hanoi, we met up with each other in Indonesia and France. We'll see each other soon again, too. Also, recently, I could make a contact with Martina, Jin Ai, Jeong Youl, and Jin Sub. I miss all my friends that I met in UNIS! Received: 18 July 2006
After UNIS I went straight to England to do a degree in Electronic Engineering at warwick university, where, as you can see by my e-mail address I still am. I've still got 2 years to go before I graduate. (03/2002)
