Hello! Almost 10 years ago I left UNIS. I was at UNIS for just 1 year but during that year I had so many great experiences and it has left me with mamories I will never forget. I havn't been back in Hanoi since but I know for sure that one day I will visit Hanoi again and I hope to see some of all the wonderful people again. Country: Denmark Received: 8 August 2008
I'm on a quest to regain contact with the old buddies
from UNIS 96-97. We were in grade 4 and 5 at the time, and even though
it was short lived,
those
were the best days of our childhoods. Remember our "new" classrooms
secluded from everybody else, and the floods with floating rats, and the
pillows in the classrooms, and the class projects, and Olympics,
and the union
of all kinds of different cultures...good times.
My BEST childhood memories are from Hanoi! The field trips, the "olympics", the dances, the "swedish bar" on fridays and the other thousands of activities were incredible! Everyday I realize more and more that it is impossible to even remotely recreate the amazing experience I had at UNIS. I came back and went to french school and switched to the regional school systems in grade 11. I'm going off to university next year. I hope to go to Brown but I will probably end up staying in montreal and taking a semester abroad in Italy. I'm going into international management with a minor in political sciences and also hope to get back into the international scene!!! I've been backpacking though Europe with friends for the past two summers but still haven't gotten the chance to go back to Vietnam! This website is a great idea! So to everyone who knows me or is passing by montreal(its a great city even though its freezing!) EMAIL ME!!!!
