Elementary Snack Sale          

The Snack Sale Committee raised total of 30,965,800VND (US$1,935) during our 9 sales in 2007-2008 school year. The funds were deposited into the UNIS PTA account and will be used for our children’s classroom activities in the coming year.

We would like to express our deepest thanks to all the parents and teachers who helped us by bringing in snacks and organizing the events. We also thank to Ms. Marie Candel, our school nurse, who paid great attention to the safety of our children and gave us advice about healthy snacks. Special thank you to Jolee and An Ha in the Communications office for organizing the wonderful  website before and after every snack sale.

We tried many new ideas this year to get parents’ attention and input to this fun event.  We hope it will be an  on-going one. Many parents supported us and we are glad to have had the extra help and snacks at the sales. With all of your help, students had wonderful experiences and enjoyed delicious treats.

The hard copy of next year snack sale schedule will be distributed to parents at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year. Five snack sales are planned for the next school year. The first one will be in September 2008.
